At its 2026 Annual General Meeting on 20 April 2026, Nation Group (Thailand) re-elected Chai Bunnag and Apivut Thongkam as directors and appointed Kamolphop Weeraphala as a new director. The Board then selected Kamolphop Weeraphala as Chairman of the Board, effective 21 April 2026.
Kamolphop, 60, is a former Managing Director of the Government Housing Bank with long experience in corporate management, business strategy and finance. He holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from Kasetsart University and an MBA from Indiana University. The board changes aim to strengthen policy-making as the media industry changes.
