Krungthep Turakij (Bangkok Biz News) received an honourable mention in the 2025 Isara Amantakul Award for best news report for its series on the impact of Chinese capital on the Thai economy. The awards were presented on 5 March 2026 by the Isara Amantakul Foundation and the Thai Journalists Association at The Emerald Hotel, Bangkok.
The series examined six areas, including Chinese investors using Singapore-registered companies, the dominance of foreign e-commerce platforms, Chinese traders moving into Bangkok's old markets such as Sampeng and Pratunam, and large-scale purchases of condominiums and warehouses.
